We offer comprehensive apprenticeship training in the following trades: Bricklaying, Pointing-Cleaning-Caulking, Tile Setting, Terrazzo, Tile-Terrazzo- Marble Finishing, Marble Setting. Western Washington Masonry Trades is the only recognized masonry apprenticeship training program in Western Washington. Minimum Qualifications: - 18 years of age or older - High School Graduate or GED equivalent - Physically able to perform work of the trade and work at high elevations - Valid Drivers License - Social Security Card or other I-9 Documentation - Participate in orientation and an interview - Pass Drug Test Wages - Starting pay for Bricklayer, PCC, and Marble Mason apprentices is 50% of journeyman’s level. Wages increase every 6 or 12 months with 750 or 1500 hours of on-the-job training. Apprentices must have both to be promoted to the next pay scale. Starting pay for Tile Setter, Terrazzo Worker, and Finisher apprentices is 50% of journeyman’s level. Wages increase every 6 or 12 months with 1000 or 1500 hours of on-the-job training. Apprentices must have both to be promoted to the next pay scale. Benefits - All major health benefits and retirement funds are included.
