Congratulations to our Local 1 Apprentices who did a fantastic job representing their craft at the 2012 Western States Apprenticeship Contest. The contest was held June 2^nd in Las Vegas. We sent 4 apprentices from Local 1 and each one of them placed in their respective trades.

Local 1 Apprentices Kyle Christopherson and Eric Renney took 1^stand 2^ndPlace in the Brick contest.Ivan Lindblad placed 2^ndin the PCC contest and Yaroslav Gubarik took 3^rdPlace in the Tile contest.

We also want to congratulate our training staff: Randy Johnson, Jim Charest, Lee West and Terry Hays. Over the last 3 years, you have brought this training program to a competitive level that has been recognized throughout the Western Region. Great job – we’ll be back again next year!
